If you haven’t unlocked collectables the quest for them is “Inscrutable Tastes” in Ishgard by the Leve people, with the next quest “Go West, Craftsman” in Mor Dhona to unlock the Idyllshire vendor

You’ll want to collect whatever collectables are being offered as the daily turn-in for the day, basically doing a loop of all the unspoiled nodes that you can access
@jolly granite a lot of their main healing tools don’t get unlocked until past 50, but they got a lot of resources to avoid having to rely on their GCD heals
And they got a good mix of damage and damage utility.

WHM is a great healer when there is a lot of burst damage, like the current Eden Raids.
SCH is more a shield healer, one that prevents damage.
And AST is in between like Vinyl says.
WHM is the easiest to learn.
AST is the most versatile.

Rep gain has doubled at some point so it should be 15 days to max if you do all their dailies.

For the first 5 days you can do the 4 combat ARR tribes equally, and then for days 6-10 you can focus on two.
Days 11-15 are a bit awkward with you focusing 9 on one tribe and then 3 for the highest tier of another tribe

For WHM, Piety is a comfort stat that is very useful if you make errors
Low piety builds pretty much rely on your entire group playing perfect and using mitigation to reduce how much healing GCDs you need to do.

I've avoided them since using them would only make me care more about randoms, which I'd like to prevent myself from doing. However if they would notably help myself improve the tradeoff is worth it

You can find some good guides on setting up ACT on github, I'd just google for it. by default it comes with meters but you can install prettier ones. I don't want to link anything 3rd party here

I'm not even sure they've ever removed a server, if you don't count the restructuring from 1.0 to 2.0
worlds that are new, or with a lack of people, often fill up insanely fast from what I know due the massive exp buff you can get there
(if anything, you want to join a world without many people for that buff, assuming you don't have any other things you want to focus on to choose a server)

The crystal allows for the use of 2 special action, called carwful observation.(which uses an item to progress the stuff without progressing buffs) and allows you.to make specialist receipes but there isn't.that many usually
