They're a bit wonky for healing at the start since a lot of their good tools are at the later levels
but for low level dungeons like Sastasha and Toto-rak your fairy can pretty much heal all the damage

If melee playstyle is more fun for you that's a different thing altogether. What I would say is that I didn't enjoy SMN until level 80 but when you can drop Bahamut and Phoenix on enemies it's totally different.

PvP actions are designed very differently from your PvE actions
They may looks the same, have the same name, and even roughly the same mechanics, but PvP actions are designed to burst damage other players

There's a notification in the notification area (default is lower-right corner iirc), you have to click it and it pops open a window that lets you pick someone.
@fierce briar It's just a bonus currency that you can give to a player at the end of the dungeon to show thanks or show they played well etc. You can't spend them, but there are rewards for earning different amounts of commendations.

Afaik there's not much difference between the Primal servers. Leviathan used to be the "twitch" server, but I don't believe that's the case anymore. All of them are active. Preferred server status helps keep them populated when one gets a bit low.

I think you only have to finish the 3.0 msq (and the rank 1 and 2 unlocks) for the rank 3 to be available. But I'm not positive because I didn't unlock hunts until long after I'd completed the MSQ...
