"What is the Glamour Dresser?"

The Glamour Dresser allows you to glamour an entire set of equipment at once when in a city or town. You can find the dresser in your inn room at any of the Adventurer's guilds.

"How do I use it?"

In order to use the Glamour Dresser you need to first put the items you want to use for glamour inside of it. This requires a one-time cost of one Glamour Prism per item. You're able to safely take out the items, but you'll need to pay another Glamour Prism to put it back into the Dresser. After you have put in the glamour items you want to use for your set you'll want to click on "Edit Glamour Plates".

When the plate window opens up you can select the stored glamours you have onto the slots of the plate to create the set you desire. Once you're satisfied with your glamour click on "Save". You can now apply your Glamour Plate by accessing the Character menu, clicking the Glamour Plate button, and choosing the Plate that you have made.

How do I get Grand Company Seals?

You can get more seals mainly by completing your Grand Company Hunting Log (Go to the Hunting Log and click on the GC icon), completing FATEs, and turning in crafted/gathered items to the Personnel Officer if you have crafting or gathering classes unlocked. Once you are Sergeant 2nd Class you can turn in Pink/Green/Blue-rarity gear in for more seals.

so you could probably sell the grade 4s if you want, or try and gamble them for higher grade (or hope for crafting/gathering materia since those usually sell a bit better)

There's really no use for regular HP potions, and most of the time, MP potions are only used by BLMs for an extra flare cast

I just cut and paste the game folder from one drive to another the other day and everything worked flawlessly. Didn't even have to redownload anything. I suppose I did have to redo some shortcuts but that's nothing.

As for losing settings when you uninstall.... I would assume you wouldn't lose anything unless it pops up and asks you if you want to delete everything

#

Though if you're paranoid, you can go make a backup of the Documents\My Games\Final Fantasy XIV - A Realm Reborn folder as that's where all that lives

You could also try using the ingame cloud save feature for your ui and settings

@frank anchor blue mage is capped at a lower level, has their own unique skill unlock system and can't normally queue up using duty finder like normal jobs

How do the different ways to level FSH compare?
Am I right in thinking that Ocean Fishing and Ishgard Restoration are the most XP-centric ways?

leves are by far and away the best, especially since if you have the gil you can easily level it in no time by buying the fish and turning it in

#

that said though, ocean fish is a pretty hefty chunk of exp every 2hrs, collectables are good but can be a bit frustrating/inconsistent as subjected to rng since the collectability of the fish is decided by the size

#

restoration is fine if you're happy to plop down and just fish

in that you're raising the collectability with skills

but fishing is pretty straight forward, you put on the collector's glove and fish

if you catch a collectable fish, you need to make sure its min collectability or better and then thats it
