I'd say Scholar is overwhelmingly green. It's a healing class with a pet, and their primary spells add a shield to the healing target too

if you have capped aetherpool it should be pretty easy.
1-100 is doable by all jobs.
And a good amount of jobs have been able to solo all the way to 200
do note that soloing is terrible for experience if you're doing it for that.

spend poetics on the poetic tokens needed for weapon and get that, then rest of the gear, then augment it but I generally wouldn't bother going out of your way to farm tomestones to upgrade since MSQ will just keep you up to date just about. It's just nice to get a headstart
The only thing I'd really say is a must to augment is a ring since then you can have an augmented ironworks ring and a normal ironworks ring (you can't have two exact duplicates)

Ishgard restoration and leves are still the best way to go for leveling crafting but Ishgard is a lot nicer with materials and there is no allowance so I'd recommend restoration over leves

@warm burrow You can ask around in towns if anyone is able to invite you to the Novice Network. That will allow you to at least connect with both new players on your server, and "mentor" players who have met the in-game requirements (although this is no guarantee of their ability to effectively mentor).
Another option would be to find a "new player friendly" Free Company to join.

It's a little of both.
You'll need certain levels in order to enter the two side dungeons required for the "assessment" quests, so you'll need to at least reach that point with your levels.

In the Glamour Dresser, open up one of the glamour plate templates (numbers 1-13), and add the piece(s) you want to dye to a plate. Then save that glamour template.

Don't worry too much about being new and not being able to get into lower level instance content, though (since that's what people usually mean when they ask if it's "viable" to start now). FFXIV has a "level sync" system for instances, so anyone of appropriate level or higher can get into any given instance and will be synced down to an appropriate level for it.

To unlock the MSQ roulette, you need to finish the last two missions in ARR pre-patch. To unlock the 50/60/70 roulette, you need to have 2 level 50 dungeons unlocked. To unlock the trials roulette, you need to have at least 2 hard trials unlocked.

and I actually only do MSQ + Daily roulettes, that's all is needed for levelling I think... Plus the story is so gripping I don't even want to do anything else lol. In the free time when queuing for roulettes I work on GC, Retainers, Gear, Fates, Aether currents etc. I find it to work pretty well actually like this so far, just finishing HW and more or less on par with MSQ level

@next wind Make sure you take a little time out to do the Crystal Tower raid (starts in Mor Dhona) before you get to Shadowbringers. It ties into the MSQ.

It's always worthwhile to check out that show up after you reach the max level for each expansion. They unlock things like the raids (8-man and 24-man), and some additional dungeons as well.
