could someone explain to me how the exp bonus works? My bf and I are the exact same level, yet im getting a 100% exp boost and he's only getting 50%. He mentioned an armory bonus, but I didn't think that applied since we're level 76.

Okay so my game seems to not want to go over 12 FPS in DirectX11. I switched to DirectX9 and it worked decently but the NPCs wouldn't load in for a bit and I had to hang around the area before they would load in. Changing resolutions, using Razer Game Booster, nothing worked.

Performance is under a seperate menu. Activating performance automatically pulls up a seperate screen with its own keybinds.

So I know how everyone feels about job level boosts, and I do agree in most situations. However I did buy one, to give the game a chance and see what the combat and content is like at endgame when the game is supposed to open up. It did work, I found combat and the game in general very dull at the beginning but having access to more skills and a couple that are off the GCD really livens it up. However I don’t know whether I should buy the ARR story skip. The base story is very uninteresting to me. If I did skip that story, does it open up in an expansion? How would I access it? Keep in mind that I’m an mmo veteran who has no issues learning a game, or my class quickly and isn’t afraid of the homework if it’s worth it. I’m just trying to see if it’s worth it. I almost quit in the early game, even after 30-40 levels.
