Yes, wired connections are almost always going to be better than wireless
if your router is very close to the device then I would suggest grabbing an ethernet cable

Long as your router isnt behind multiple walls and has a consistently good connection it doesn't matter too much, might get some faster download speeds on ethernet
If you're using a desktop pc it's not much of an inconvenience to cable it up though
For laptop it might get annoying to plug it out and in every time

it's not like an arbitrary score, it's just all the item levels of all pieces of gear added up and divided by the number of slots
if you want to do that calculation yourself, you can, it's easy, but weapons for all jobs other than paladin count twice
so if I'm wearing an i100 weapon and four pieces of i90 gear, the average is
(100 + 100 + 90 + 90 + 90 + 90) / 4 = 93.3. round down, your ilvl would be 93.

but when it's necessary, you really need both provoke and shirk
so, like, if i'm playing PLD and my co-tank is a WAR. if the WAR has the boss right now and i know the tankbuster is coming up, i'll press provoke during the cast bar
so the WAR takes the hit, but i have aggro right after
but if the WAR doesn't shirk to me, we'll be really close in aggro, and there's a good chance the WAR will overtake me, get aggro, take an auto to the face and die

Okay so you need to add your subscription time through the steam store
You'll go in, tell it you want to do a Steam Wallet payment, and it'll take you to the actual steam website where you'll log in and be able to punch in your payment info there
Then you have to CONFIRM that you want Steam to actually purchase additional time for you (for the subscription) and then it'll bring you back to the mogstation, and you should have the gametime added.
