I know it is currently probably a frequently asked question but I was wondering if it is normal that if I test my ACT parse connection it says "Failed: Found FFXIV but cannot detect one or more FFXIV memory signatures. IF FFXIV was recently update, thiy max require an update to FFXIV_ACT_Plugin". I used to think that the ACT data which you get would just be incorrect.

Quick follow up on craftmanship: a craft has 750 progress and your current gears give you 251 per synthesis, so you need to synthesis three times to finish, then there is not a lot of reason to add more craftsmanship to get a 260 synthesis, you still need to do it 3 times, that's kinda sorta is what it is meant by threshold and cutoff point.
It is gets a tad more complicated at higher level, but for now, don't worry about it too much.

Pre-emptive tip for a future issue you might encounter: go to settings and make most of your hotbar not Shared. By default, 1-3 are not shared, 4-10 are shared. You can go 5/5 or 7/3

has anyone been having big ol' mid-game connection hiccups since the most recent patch? The -only- reason I don't start with "it's probably something on my end" is that I've had streams and VoIP conversations rolling while these drops are happening, but it doesn't affect anything but the game (and it doesn't seem to affect anything but -this- game). You're unlikely to get results from queueing for them. Content of that difficulty level is not done through duty finder queue.
You'll need to make a party finder ad. Unsynced, poetics bonus.

I assume that's referring to chain lightning. You split up in 2 groups with a healer, melee, and ranged each. Then you pass the lightning between them. On primal the order is typically healer, melee, then ranged, but I don't know what it is on light.

@west dew it couldn't be more beginner friendly, although it takes time to adapt and learn jobs, they're still easy to get down and play really well if you just take the time to read tooltips. As far as main scenario quest progression goes, for the most part it's talk to some people, do some chores, then eventually a dungeon/trial boss fight
