in general, the game doesn't just fail to load NPCs. If you're in the orange waypoint circle and you don't see who you're looking for, it's probably either in another part of the circle or they're up or down from you.

@sharp flower about finding people, Aether datacenter has a discord of finding treasure hunt people. Maybe there's a similar one for Crystal? It apparently wasn't very well advertised so I didn't get an invite to the discord until someone asked me if i found their PF with discord.
After joining the discord though, it takes less than 5 minutes to fill a group of 6-8 people.

yes, but my experience with that has been extremely slow. sometimes take more than an hour to get a few people.
the issue with treasure hunt PF is that it's server wide and not datacenter.
so the discord people would @ people and people from other servers will world visit to join the map PF.
effectively made the PF spreads to other servers.

@silver lintel regards to your gear question, you can put them in glamour dresser in case you need to use them for glamour later on. if it can't be sold on marketboard, it usually is some kind of one-time item.

FC housing has access to the workshop which lets you make airships and submarines for basically super-retainer ventures
Also with FC housing any FC member can enter the house to reset the auto-demolition timer, while for a personal/shared house only the owner can reset the timer

the regen's cooldown is only a minute, that's not long. The only time using an ogcd heal is a waste is if it overheals, so if you're taking constant damage you can just throw it on yourself every 60 seconds on the dot

Keen Edge -> Brutal Shell -> Solid Barrel is the 1-2-3 combo. After 1-2-3 combo you'll gain a cartridge, then you can use Gnashing Fang -> Savage Claw -> Wicked Talon. There's much much more to this, but this alone might be sufficient enough for you to do enough damage to get through that job quest.

How to pull in a dungeon as a warrior? (Lvl 40) so what I do is run to them , hit one (heaving swing), provoke another and hit the last one with overpower. The start doing combo lol is there a better way. Usually mobs see me but run past to healer until I hit them.

hey there guys so i have some questions. i tried to get into FF14 about this time last year actually, i would say towards the end of december 2018/into 2019. what i had done then was boost some jobs and played that way however i quickly got burnt out because i think a lot of it had to do with the fact i had no idea really what was going on since i just boosted immediately to max level. im interested in returning to the game and im curious if you think ill be benefitted leveling a new class from scratch to max level

you can basically 100% simulate crafting. the only thing is this simulator assumes everything to be normal status. no good, excellent, or poor status.
if you want 100% HQ, you'll have to manually craft.
crafting itself can be someone's main focus for FFXIV. the system is very intricate and relatively complex compare to other game's crafting system.

if you're talking about gear, most of it is craftable/ buyable by NPC or the coffers give stuff to you based on what job you open them with
but if its like MSQ specific stuff like the Lominsan ring then you're locked into whatever you got in MSQ

In terms of battle class they’re all identical in terms of items they can get. Just make sure to make them a class you’re leveling up as their levelcap is equal to your current level for that class.
For the gathering classes they can gather pretty much anything that you have gathered, except for Fisher which has a more limited selection

so i recently started playing , and i have white mage as my main (lvl 39 atm), but im already running into a few problems
up until lvl 27ish, i kept people alive relatively easy in any sort of duty, but after one dungeon, i became completely lost as to how to play without anyone in my party dying, and using abilities and such simultaniously
i was looking through keybinds, macros, rotations, but i got even more lost than before because ive never experienced how to do any of those things before playing ffxiv, i was always clicked to do my abilities
so yeah, no idea what to do from here

so question regarded end-game progression. Coming from wow, the gear treadmill was practically endless, with Titanforging (RNG-item level increases on even basic gear), gem sockets being RNG, and stats being, for the most part, RNG. getting your bis was a trail of patience & farming non stop.... what is it here, do the top dungeon / allagan tomestone.... and materia melding?

its pretty much similar to wow, in that you do savage (similar to like heroic/mythic raiding) raids and mix that gear with the augmented tomestone gear. The only rng aspect of it is how many weeks it can potentially take you to get the gear since if you're super unlock with rolls, you can use the books to directly purchase the savage pieces you want

Depending on where you are in the cycle, can skip dungeons and go into normal mode raid

fresh 80, do expert roulette and other roulettes for tomestones. get tomestone gear, get high enough for the normal 8-man raid. get higher ilvl, maybe do savage
also the 24-man raid is 'story difficulty' and can supplement some gear each week

is the later -fights tuned to have gear from the earlier fights?

don't personally have experience doing mythic raiding but from what i've read, the first two savage tier fights are like on par with heroic raiding, with the second two fights being closer to mythic

@rose rose There's a setting in the hotbar menu that you need to turn off to make that switching stop. It's in character settings

but ultimate raids (hardest fights in the game) are on par/harder than mythic
With the ultimate fights being mostly for bragging rights and not really part of the BiS formula
