Do I only spend like $500 and turn it into a SFF ITX (Meshlicious Case) build that would look cool and take up less space?

Or do I spend the $1,200 and make my own first custom water loop in a (slightly) bigger case than the one I have now?

Well, I'm fairly certain the custom loop would improve performance since right now I only have an AIO for my 5800x and I hear the 3080s/3090s really do well water cooled.

Wanted the NZXT H1 V2 at first, but I don't think a 140mm will cut it for a 5800x.

The ThermalTake T100 is only 120mm AIO or air cooled, but doesn't have the best airflow for either GPU or CPU.

The Phantex apparently just can't fit a lot of 240mm AIOs (not even the ones Phantex has in stock!) or the GPU cuts off the tubing routing.

So it is like....do I prefer the small, cute look of the Meshlicious and it's ease of use/placement? Or do I prefer the cool look of a bigger tower with a custom loop more?

And I can't decide ;_;.

So you gotta remember that unless you have one of those newer special laptops with like the external cooling for the system, laptop GPUs are smaller and weaker than their desktop counterparts and the heat typically drops them down a tier from what they should be (EX: A 3080 becomes more 3070-ish, a 3070 3060-ish etc.).

Desktop 3060s are pretty damn powerful and probably the most sensible "higher-end" GPUs you can get.

EDIT: They really should start using different names for laptop GPUs - like the Laptop 3060 should be like the 3050M or something.

The inlet is well below the water level so I don’t really see air getting into the system you should be fine

Does it not have an O ring

Some air bubbles are normal as long as they are small but they can accumulate and form a larger air pocket and damage your pump

As Sarah said you may want to bleed the system again

There could still be many small pockets of airs

Tipping doesn't get it all

You also want to make sure it's not vapor locked
