that's because some poorly made USB-C cables fuck up the auto-negotiation with shitty pullup resistors

so the cable says "this device can accept $max.power from you" and the PC obliterates whatever you plugged into the port

at least a notebook or other high power device can accept the max output from the USB port without eating shit

USB-C has literally one good feature in its spec, the reversible connector

everything else is a shitshow of sliding/incompatible specs that aren't clearly marked and you have no way of knowing or testing without a lot of prayer and hardware insurance involved

TN = Fastest response, lowest color accuracy
IPS = Best color accuracy, good response, poor contrast (which appears to be my current monitor, the HT231)
VA = Happy Medium color/performance, best contrast

I can't say I'm totally thrilled with the performance, the 7 year old 34UM94 I have has some issues

like there's a spot where the backlight seems to have delaminated a bit on the side, but the screen still overall looks fine

my razer viper ultimate is a lot louder than my g502 wireless

my crappy guess is anything sold as 'lightweight' will be louder since there's less material to dampen the sound

logitech specifically sells a 'quiet' mouse but I've heard it's not really any quieter than a normal mouse lol

hmm random shit, but I got a trial extension for acdsee photo studio. ahh I think it's really cool they do that. I like their feature set and I think it does the job well, but dangit it's so slow it's frustrating. 😦

but i guess they lost money making that series as the 3d ram was extremely expensive

They are in the process of currently establishing themselves again, they messed up with rdna and got better with rdna 2 but the damage was done so they need rdna3 and 4 to be that much better and they hopefully will be given it’s moving to MCM and since people really love nvidia and nvidia destroying the idea of lower wattage cards, powerdraw problems from MCM in theory should make it that much more promising
