I got a VA a IPS and TN Monitor.

my IPS and TN Monitor are both 144 hz. Why is it that even a TN Monitor has issues with black to white response times? When i move around my youtube window the text on the picture also has trouble to transition smoothely. Ufotest shows me zero ghosting.

Even though my IPS monitor has slight ghosting, it looks a bit better in this case because of the blur.

I guess its just hard for monitors to be perfect in this regard, i assume?

well I currently have a work pc which I'm using my 3090 in, which uses Windows (because I have to for work) and my personal pc which is running a 5900HX cpu integrated graphics (it's a mini pc) as a temporary personal pc, which is running Linux, and a third build which is unfinished which I plan to put my 3090 in which will also run linux, but AMD works better with linux in my experience so far

though I'm under NDA so I can't go into much detail the issue I have with the 3090 drivers is that our game engine just does not work on the latest drivers... so I have to use older ones which causes the odd problem here and there in games, but
a) it's a work pc so i shouldn't be too worried about other games having issues and
b) our devs are working to resolve the issue anyway

now run Linux (ZorinOS) and have no social media accounts, no google, use my own self hosted cloud server instead of things like dropbox, use Signal instead of whatsapp etc
