I was looking at them originally or similar older epyc/xeon stuff but buying everything separately got expensive

7D12 is ~£140 on its own

I imagine it’s more enthusiasts own TRs and the epycs and Xeons are pulled from actual servers

Most of them are from China anyway

TR's only exist for the workstation market.

No-one would bother to put them into an acutual server, a TR is half the memory/PCIe lanes of an epyc unless you get the pro.

I'm trying to like conserve money since this is coming from the PC I'm going to sell
