The fans were working just a few days ago so I have no idea what may have changed. I tried uninstalling recent KBBs.
Maybe it coincided with when it didn't want to charge from the normal magsafe cable and I had to use usb-c
It's always been a little finnicky where occasionally it wouldnt charge even though the light was on the cable, but rebooting and replugging the cable a few times would always fix it. Not this time though

Your laptop came with a charger with a type c end, using any 100, 130' 170, 215 235 or the bric 275watt 19v out. You can't charge it with a USB to C cable. Not possible it can't carry enough power
Using the proper charger you should not have problems. Any less or more than 19 volts and you will be melting connections
