the chances of actually burning out the ssd in your usual use case are low

the usual mac user is gonna use that shit 3-5 years and then ewaste it anyway

and then apple will use their special robot to delicately pick it apart and save the environment /s

getting 5 years out of a mini and then recycling it probably isn't any worse than using an hp minitower for 10 years and then recycling it
