but really the cars were totally fine with a v6

having had a 300 in both v6 and v8 form, the v6 was fine

just wish it had better brakes....

the reason I love v8s is the sound :3

its just ppl use their brakes too much

nah a like 140ft 60-0 and brakes that fade easily are not really great things

i think I get the points you're making

like having a reasonable following distance and not riding em down a mountain

but sometimes shit happens

i also get that it's a tradeoff, because higher end brakes == exponentially higher to replace pads/discs and they use materials more likely to squeak and squeal no?

ha and then there's ceramic ones

iirc ceramic has to warm up before it performs well?

carbon ceramic used to be not that great

you had to basically mash your brakes a few time to get heat in them

now its not bad

the only issue is the cost

and steel rotors perform just as well!

my step dad had one they were alright

they still used the same fox body chassis and road like a boat and the modular 2v they had for most of the 90s was total dog shit in performance

but not gonna argue with that terminator cobra mmmmmmm that thing sounds so sick

the cobra had the 4 valve
