Yep. I sorta regret the circumstances that led to it- my old CPU was basically frying, idle at 94C. And I'm pretty sure the HDD was within a few months of failing since it was eight years old and was giving me errors. So I got pissed off and just.. chunked the bastard in a dumpster. Went back to the drawing board, built a rig with more cooling, a better processor, a 3060 and a 2TB SSD. It's perfect for my needs.
I'm an idiot. I know. But my thought processes have never been completely logical. What matters now is I built this thing and it's great.

Press the Windows key and type "Startup Apps" you can disable things from running on startup there.
That coworker was funny again later on yesterday where he was questioning me on if I was making undocumented changes in prod. And it's like no, I already told you I checked the current config file into the repo and I'll put in a PR for my recommended changes.
It's probably like the 12th time he questions me or says something with the implication that I just go around randomly changing things in prod like an idiot
