its sorta similiar to how intel use to do it but its much more on die and faster

Computer was fine last night but having trouble installing a game on steam, (got to 99% and then just. Stopped with the disk usage and such.) Tried a few different things like clearing the cache and the like.

Now I try to turn on my desktop and now it's stuck perpetually loading. Won't even get to windows.

Which is strange because the Boot files and such are on the m.2, and the place with my games is a HDD.

Was able to get into the bios and. Everything looks fine. Still recognizes the drives.

Hard restarting it sometimes has "Preparing Automatic Repair" show up. Letting it do it's thing causes the logo to vanish. The mouse icon is an hourglass now.

Now just a normal mouse icon on a black screen.

apparently the Bank of Japan increased the interest rates on the yen

which has apparently caused a lot of trouble for traders who were borrowing yen for low interest rates and using it to buy US stocks

and then getting into trouble when they had to pay it back

people borrow

they had to increase the rates because inflation is extremely high there

if you dont increase the rates the value of your money is worthless and prices go up significantly while people dont make anymore money

and now everyone is broke

its also why buying shit in america is so easy because borrowing money is insanely easy and almost anyone can qualify for it, they dont actually have the money to buy it but damn them low interest payments sure look good

man I was thinking of putting my savings into a boring index or EFT or whatever

but looking at what the market is doing I can't tell if this is a good or a bad time to start doing so

maybe I'll wait for whatever is happening now to pass and then buy stocks in a few different big tech companies? that seems like a fairly safe option

if Intel manages to pull their heads out of their asses and not fuck up their next generation of CPUs

well i went and slapped a few hundred more into my ETFs now

its always going down because X happened but its also always going back up at some point

i also used my monthly "play money" to just slap it into some stocks, like i know that capcom will certainly recover again
