also make sure the screen is at the correct height, because having it too far below your eyes or above washes out the image

I got a job building low end desktop PCs. I think the biggest headache of the process is.

1. Cable management.

2. Getting the IO Shield on.

I find it a lot of fun still, even if it takes me like 7 minutes to get the IO shield on right.

Good news is it's actually pretty hard to fuck up PC components. They're keyed to only go in the same way. The CPU used to be the sketchiest part, but modern designs also key the PCB for the CPU as well, so I'd say now that only leaves mounting giant air coolers as being sus bc of the amount of force you need to use. AIO watercoolers are a breeze tho.

If audio quality is what you seek, I think if you're clever and get a good deal like $150 on some really good model of sennheisers or beyerdynamic when they're on sale... even without a dac/amp you'll probably get comparable/better "sound quality" than you would out of the airpods max (especially considering they're BLUETOOTH headphones)

the $200 beyer 'edition' headphones are super comfortable. they have a rep of being some of the most comfy headphones lol. The sennheisers also mostly have a rep of being comfy .They all have velour earcup pads so they don't get sweaty and stuff.

IDK anything about the wheel manufacturer, but aftermarket wheels are usually the biggest waste of money, like any other car appearance mod lol

plus i think it's kind of a wash in resale

either people will seek out the car with the fancy wheels, or they will actively avoid it because modded car = more likely to have been abused

if you use the right size/spec wheels and don't need weird spacers or anything, GOOD

but there are drawbacks sometimes like needing spacer hardware or whatever that fucks with suspension geometry, plus lightweight wheels tend to break easier
