games in general use as much as you can throw at them but some of it is preloading assets

if you have a 12gb vram card and you are max RT and settings 4k you may reach the limit but the game will not require more

it might use more if you have it

but not require

if you use DLSS, your rendering resolution drops

so that lessens vram requirement as well

I don't hate their seasonal paint color system

where they rotate through a palette of like 30 colors over the course of 5 years

the only problem is sometimes you want a new one in that color lol

it also sucks when a special edition is only offered in some colors

like the 300c only came in red/white/black. no blue 😦 no silver either....

I dont know other than ChromaFlair is a very special color shift pigment for cars and getting the desired color shift is a matter of lots of work

but they have a library of paints that people have done before which you can also get for quiet a bit less

its 13k for any of the paint to sample colors already in their library, but not every color they have done is in it

most people pay an extra premium to lock a color out from the paint to sample library

Ford did the same thing with the newer Ford GT

if you payed like 100k for the paint it meant nobody else could order a Ford GT in that color

BMW's are plagued with problems depending on the generation

starting in the 90's BMW realized that they would have to step it up to be able to get people to buy their cars

so things got more complex and more advanced

Germans can make things work but typically its very expensive and unreliable

BMW had engine issues for a long time until 2014 when the B48 inline 4 came out, and then the B58 inline 6 came out after

the B58 is probably the best engine produced

other issues with tech that was too early like new AC system designs and complex wiring harnesses that can fail

you can definitely get a reliable BMW

you just have to know what to look for

same with the Mini

the engines they were using for the new Mini Coopers were not very good until BMW used it as a production test mule for their B48 inline 4

those B48 mini's are unbelievably reliable, just a pain in the ass to work on

afaik, some dealers allow you to request a spec, and then they'll pull it from available incoming shipments or whatever if they can
