A cardioid condenser mic you can leave 2-3ft from you, but it picks up a lot of room noise without a shield. If you have a dynamic mic, then those need to be deepthroating them to have them sound really loud bc they fall off after 6-12 inches

That's why if you ever watch clips of Trash Taste they're always pulling the mic in close to their face bc they're dynamic mics

I'm at 4 years with my Razer Phone2 and it's still running quite well albeit with the usual quirks, but the battery life is getting to the point where I have to charge it fully to have it make it thru the entire day for bedtime without being at like 20%

Question, I think when I built a pc I cheapened out on the WiFi, since I now seem to get 2 mb on download speed even on steam. Is there a way to check/can I just slot a better network adapter at the back of my case and call it a day?

of course you can buy pcie cards. Depending on your motherboard, you could probably also just replace the wifi m.2 card

or you could use a usb one

however, you might be using 2.4ghz instead of the 5ghz bands on your wifi?

what kinda motherboard and what kinda router do you use?

I checked and I don't think my network adapter (if that's the word) supports 5 GHz. My laptop can easily hit 30 MBs instead for example

For the router, it was provided and produced by the ISP here in Italy

Since that one is taking the back space, and I kinda fear opening my case as I'm not experienced with it, I should go for an usb one with antennas, no? (Also any suggestions? Or should I check something else as the cause of the problem could lie elsewhere?)

that motherboard doesn't have onboard wifi. As for that card, that's a separate dealie

and you're right that's a b/g/n card that only does 2.4ghz

as for pcie vs usb, it really doesn't matter much.

I mean it can.....

if you plug it into a usb 2.0 port you will limit your max speed

changing out a pcie card is pretty painless, and would allow you to remove the one you have in there

Is that a problem? Or changing the adaptar would "fix" it? ( Also I have a usb 3.0 slot, although it is at the front, the real problem with the removing the pcie one is that I lack the screwdrivers too )

it's a pretty good comparison to microsoft's hololens though

and, I think that MS actually came pretty close to doing a good job with hololens

this may very well be the part where apple does what MS can't

kinda like MS had the tablet PC idea down, and then the ipad took it and ran with it (somehow in a worse way, but it did)
