So I got a soundbar with a sub yesterday and I was trying it out, but it seemed worse than my headset. Before I returned it I was going to ask if maybe there was something I'm setting up or configuring wrong

My headset for my Series X is an Astro A50, and my PC one is the Virtuoso XT.

I was trying the Creative Katana V2X for a soundbar since the reviews on it were pretty positive and I thought it might be nice to have good sound that doesn't require me to wear my headset when I'm not playing Halo/BF etc.

I had the monitor plugged into it through 3.5 AUX so I could use it for Switch/Xbox and Optical for the PC.

using 'monitor' speakers is really popular these days, but packaging-wise and sound-quality-wise this may or may not be your preference. It isn't usually mine 😄

like audioengine a2+, a lot of edifier speakers (though I can't think of a particular model number), yamaha hs stuff, etcetc

for a non-monitor-speaker option, walmart/sams used to regularly have the klipsch 2.1 thx for under $100, it's hard to recommend them for >$100 though

(the bluetooth ones are not good because anyone can connect to them and there's no way to turn bluetooth off)

4 pin goes under the 20 pin

they should be flush

thats suppose to mesh with the 20 pin connector

and make it flush

installing a graphics card is pretty simple, make sure you have the PCI-E tabs on the back of the case removed (usually just the first 2 but if you have a big card then may need 3

just like a game cartridge

once you see that tab snap back in (you'll hear a click) then its secure

you'll then screw the metal tab on the top left of the card into the case
