To my knowledge there would only be two ways this could happen. (Assuming is like a hotmail.com or live.com e-mail)

1. It was their personal school account which would 100% just be managed and controlled by the school.
2. The person's account was set to an underaged birthday and needed to be managed by an adult account.

Depending on the sensitivity of the business in question, that business is held legally liable for the methods employees are able to access work information (emails, ticketing, etc). Though this is usually done by limiting access to work supplied devices or having a opt-in waiver that the employee would need to sign allowing the business to be legally able to do remote device encryption/wipe on the personal device. But outside of these examples it IS mostly illegal for a business/institution to force take over personal devices.

Ah, so there is another way you can manage other users account, but still requires someone with access to your personal account to complete it. But you can delegate your account management to a domain. but this requires a request to be sent from your account to the domain in question and then be approved from their side or vise versa. only ever had to do this for full domains and not personal accounts. Its possible the daughter wanted access to things the default licensing had and may have just incidentally adopted their parent's account into their school domain. this can be undone but only by the school who has "administration" over the account.

IMHO it's just a really elegant design for modern case needs and aesthetics, assuming you have the width for it. It allows you to hide the PSU and messy cabling behind the mainboard so it looks nice, all the glass to show off, but the front fans being to the side solves the thermal issues with front-glass. And unlike a lot of glass cases, they hide the back so you can't just see the rats nest back there. Which is my one major gripe with my X570.

I need to get some window tint material or print some weebshit on the advertising wrap stickers you see on buses or car windows and put that on the back glass

One of my biggest annoyances is that emails are still tied to individual mailboxes instead of a central mail flow. It's common to have a "basement bar" with maybe a pool table or a theater room

A cheaper variant would be just painting the cinder blocks and maybe putting up a wall to separate the laundry room/furnace and having a painted floor like a garage with a large area rug for the theater space

We have radon issues in my area though, so it's not necessarily a great idea for bedrooms.

While this absolutely lone toilet is more of a mystery, basement bathrooms are uncommon but not super rare. My friends house has a half bath in the basement. It's a proper room though with a sink and door etc.

Probably it's a mix of "emergency 2nd toilet", there maybe was a slop sink that was removed in the past, or maybe even one of those toilets where they have a faucet that pours into the top tank. Dunno if those were around back then.

My friend's house when I was in Monterey not only had the bathroom, but like a slop sink on the outside of the house behind the garage. I think they speculated it was for cleaning fish. But the master bedroom closet had capped off pipes from a sink in it as well that was 🤔

I'm remembering the communal urinals at the big church convention center we would go to as a kid. It was like 6 people wide into a communal drain and had a giant water tank up on the ceiling. Except it would frequently get stuck and just be pouring water nonstop and even kinda overflowing a bit so you would have to stand away from it

Yes, the more modern version of the full length has individual flushing, but the original design was like the dump bucket at a water park: It was set to fill the reservoir at a certain speed, and when the water height reached the top, it tipped the release and flushed them. Honestly, I feel like that's most sinks. The sensor is always too high on the fixture, so invariably you try to turn it on then lower your hands so you can actually lather/rinse and it turns off

haha yeah the ones where the soap sensor somehow works from 6 inches but the water won't work from 6mm so it's just wasting tons and tons of soap in a half-dried stream on the side
