Hi I was looking into a gaming mouse with a lot of buttons on the side for ff14 im looking for less expensive but can spend more if it's worth it

I'm not very tech smart so I thought I'd ask Instead of just anything

So I ordered a Pop Air for a work PC because they have one of the few ATX boards and also use disc drives at work and they're using a case that I bought during my early college years

I am somewhat confused what kind of graphic card I really want
the goal is still comfortable 1440p 144hz. Obviously, the better (and more expensive) the card is, the more FPS I can reach.
I jump from aiming for a 3060, then go for a 3070 ti, and now 3080. But I wonder if I really need a 3080. It is a card for 4k gaming, so of course it can perform very well in 2k gaming, but it seems overkill (and overpriced)

still, if I bite a bullet for a 3080, I think its performance can last for many years to come

a 3080 isn't going to be playing the latest releases at 144 fps at 1440

hm I don't really feel any desperation. It is like getting into the PC build hype, then wonder why the heck I choose such build when I take a look a few days later

I have a i5 4460 and GTX 960, so even a 1xxx series is an upgrade

I don't typically play AAA games. Mostly 2D games + sometimes a 3D games but it is annoying having to tone down graphic for the sake of FPS in Full HD

also, more FPS in FF14 means I can put up more prettier reshader :3

also bigger resolution helps with my office work

As for your need, I checked Afterburner (bless that guy) with 1660 max w Ipsusu gameplaylite preset 1080p, around 50% with solid 55fps, dip to 40-45 in Limsa but then again my setting is not as demanding

Can scale up to 3060-3080 to 144hz just fine, but then some of the game interaction is weirdo with higher than 60fps but then blame CBU3 o how the game is built not ur hardware

Tbh 4xxx is kinda weird, unless if you work with AV1 format tho, 3xxx is more economy
