Modern cooling demands require you to cut out a lot of the internals like the floppy and 5.25" bay if you want to fit in an AIO radiator etc. Also make sure you measure the width and can find a GPU that fits

That's why I feel like a 240mm AIO is probably a better bet. Cut the 5.25, floppy and HDD cages out and you can mount a rad in the front possibly. But cooling the rad then becomes an issue I suppose

I doubt you'll find anything cheaper than $60 that will cool a higher end CPU well. Hyper212 was fine when stuff was like 77W but as Nhadala was saying that is 105W and its not even a true 105. CPUs these days the rated TDP is a worthless metric at the higher end

Gigabyte Qflash Plus is pretty versatile. It doesn't need CPU, ram or gpu mounted to do a firmware update, so it's fine if you do have them in but it won't post until the firmware is updated

I would say modern mainboards are a lot harder to brick with the current flashing systems, but yeah it used to be a bad idea to update firmware unless you had issues.
Or rather you always risked something going wrong. Whereas now if you fail a flash you can just use Qflash or equivalent to run it again or even downgrade etc.

With both the Naga Pro and the Trinity, you have detachable side plates. I had this problem and pulling off the side plate and cleaning the contacts with a q-tip dipped in alcohol fixed it right up. It did happen again a week later and I once again cleaned the contacts. That was 2 months ago and it's still working fine.

As far as in the future if its 1080p vs 1440p: With a 3080 it generally makes the most sense to be 1440p at this point, although if you wanted to push RTX raytracing but still get good framerate a 1080p could be justified. eg: Darktide with RTX Med and DLSS Balanced on 1080p fluctuates between 60-110fps
