someone was trying to tell me it was bad to enable xmp and i was like okay... so for arguments sake i tried a probably irrelevant cpu bench (timespy) and with xmp off it only improved the score about 3%

XMP tends to be bad because it picks wild voltage settings to set the profiles

one of the XMP profiles on my board sets the vdimm to like 1.85V

I can get the same stable frequency at 1.55V

that should be the coolest water in the loop since it's already passed through the rad

my temp probe is somewhere near the middle of the radiator so it measures kind of an average, plus my radiator is mounted above my case so it gets some heat soak

but the delta you want depends on the heat density and power load

CPUs will just run hotter than GPUs no matter what, good old physics

my CPU was hitting 80C in prime95 with AVX enabled, even with water on it

FAT32 only formats up to 32gb afaik. There are ways to format a larger drive as FAT32 and only be 32gb but its kinda janky.

So your best bet is to get one that is 32gb or smaller so its properly FAT32 formatted (They will come preformatted that way, but if you reformat them its fine too)

So my 128gb said FAT32 in windows, but was actually a newer filesystem called exFAT

One $5 USB drive later, and I had solved my problem in 2mins

And that was only because I had a 13900K. If you have a supported CPU already, most vendors have a windows utility that will let you update your bios from there
