I've bought a few chairs so I spent some time researching x_X

honestly it might still all be the same company

and they just have different construction methods for different price points

my observation has been that all of them, knockoff or not, have the same mounting point for the arm rests

I think that may be a cost saving measure though

like razer/dxracer/secretlab/akracing use generic armrests on their cheaper chairs to hit a lower price point

but the higher end models have different arm rests that are different quality

the best ones I've seen so far are the ones my mom's razer enki has

they lock in place and are really solid

the ones on my staples emerge chair have the exact same mounting point and work mostly similar, but they don't lock in place and they rotate if you touch them ahhaha

(ironically, this is why I dislike steelcase gesture chairs, they do the same thing)

the really low end gaming chairs are basically just an office store chair that was made to look like a gaming chair. just a plywood chair with foam on top

the higher end ones have the metal frame and elastic straps holding up the seat/back

also I think there is a little bit of give with how the heatsink is aligned

and the pic with the sapphire gpu, the heatsink might be set lower

they may have done that to clear the vrm heatsinks lol
