And yeah, when I first moved back to WI I signed up for Spectrum again as it was decent in this area, but I immediately found out they changed the routing etc. on the network backend in the couple years I was gone and it was garbage now.
Traffic for Chicago was being routed west to Minneapolis/St Cloud before coming back. Used to get 45ms ping to Virginia TF2 servers and was now getting 85ms
So I ditched them for ATT fiber bc they're clearly in money-saving mode and content with just having boomers streaming netflix so the latency doesn't matter
