how much power the 8 pin connectors on a corsair modular PSU can push is dependent on the psu design, what the connectors themselves are rated for, and what the cables are rated for.

while the specification for 8-pin PCIe power connectors acting as PCIe power connectors may specify a lower max wattaage

the standard for the end that plugs into the pcie cards is based on things like daisy chaining and stuff

and probably cheaper PSUs using thinner gauge wire

yea based on that cable, 300w per PSU connector is a safe guess

the PSU rails themselves are usually rated so they can throw almost the entire rated wattage behind the 12v line lol
