Still Getting Alerts for Explored Expedition Points

Hello all, first I want to say how awesome this game is and how much I've been enjoying it.
Basically the issue is what it says in the title. I just noticed that I'm still getting daily alerts for one time Expedition Points like the Broken Crate. I have already visited it, cleared it out and now the point is no longer accessible since it is empty. But I'm still getting a notification that I can visit it. I can't access that point on the Expedition map any more to turn the alert off.
