FPS drop makes game unplayable

I just recently bought this game for my gf on her laptop which can run games decently its not anything special. But we've been trying to run I Am Future for the last hour and its severly choppy and laggy in the actual game part but not in the main menu. I've already messed around with resolution, fps, graphics quality etc... all of her other steam games run fine except this one and was wondering if there's a fix for this?

Hi!

I also get this issue, it hitches and then carries on, definitely difficult when you're trying to fish and it hangs.

I tried moving it from my HDD to SSD to see if it was a hardware issue but it continued.

Please provide your save files and logs. Also, I would like to clarify if the stuttering occurs only during fishing or all the time? Could the stuttering be related to the save process (does the game lag when it saves)?

Hi, it happens all the time, just more inconvenient when fishing. When it was at it's worst, it was hanging every 15-20 seconds, but I didn't see the save icon when it happened.

You have attached the game files themselves, not the log and save files.
The path to the logs and saves is

1. Paste the following into your File Explorer window: %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Mandragora;
2. Locate the folder called ‘I Am Future’;

We need this specific folder.

During a quick test, the primary cause of the performance drop was identified as the minion. Please move the minion and do not assign any new tasks to it. Let me know if the performance drop persists even when the minion is deactivated. We will take a closer look at your save file to see if there are any other issues.
