This bug occured after i dumped planks into campfire and then quickly switched to Bucket of Salt Water: Planks model didn't despawn and was stuck on player model. Exiting main menu and back into the game did remove the collision of planks with the MC but now the model is stuck suspended in air.
rebooting the game did not resolve the issue, planks are still suspended in air

I have run across the plank sticking to arm thing too. Not sure how it happened though
