#In the constructor, when an answer includes media give an option for the text answer to be hidden

Of course the text still needs to be there so the host knows if answers are right or wrong.
I like it, some sort of a 'display answer to players' checkbox might make a great addition to the gameplay and is easy to implement. Expect it with one of the next updates!
did this make it into the game? I don't see it lol
I'm actually thinking where to put this checkbox
Do you have any ideas?
maybe directly above the 3 panels
greyed out or just not visible unless there is some media
host knows if the answer is right or wrong when he accepts the answer, but ye, if u r using media as answer I also think there should not be need of placing text answer in there.
how would the host know if it's right on wrong? lol
I think Critical Tomato supports your point, by 'there should not be need of placing text answer in there' he means on the board!
Yes yes, I totally support the idea, I just wanted to mention that host knows the answer since the point when question is chosen 🙂
That is, ofc, if host is a player, not the AI;
ah right, cool cool. I just thought he meant the host would magically know without the text there, I have seen some packs made like that lol
Actually let me check something real quick
Ignore my game language; You can use only image/sound/video as an answer, so text is not needed
Text would sadly be needed for the host to see the answer on their device
let me test that rq then
Oh, yea, if u use image/sound/video answer only host CANT see the answer, okay, okay, i made a brainfart, sorry
You actually raise a good point, I think I should add a warning for the creator of the pack
Like 'the host won't be able to see the answer, are you sure?'
something like that, yea
I think don't even give an option, just mark the question invalid if there is no text
I just made a testing in a quiz and if u type the answer, add the image, save the quiz, remove the text - it works 😄
I've added the feature, it looks like this, should be live now. Let me know if you notice any errors or inconsistencies with it
