Cool, it's a lot more coherent and doesn't need the negative prompts v2 needed. The resolution and detail in the images is really good, contrast is great, seems really versatile for different styles. Just a much improved model in general... Need to test more to see how much you can steer it through prompts, it makes awesome images but would suck if they all end looking the same as Midjourney did at some point. As I said it feels really versatile but need to keep testing. For now I'm loving it, great work...

The model should listen decently well to prompts (I hope) so you often dont need too much to vary the style or output. Then again we are also still learning how it reacts as well as all of you. I have seen some pretty surprising creations here in just the last day

Hi there, I wanted to share some thoughts:
**-**Regarding the new system with the 2 cycles: If I understand correctly, the cycles are now twice as long with more images are being added at halftime?
If this is the case, I think it's a good idea (showdowns with only ~4 images are sad). However, it might be worth considering making the number of images added andor if there is a second cycle dependent on how many images are currently already in showdown. (iirc it varies quite a bit over the course of a day)
- Also having the top message give the time until the current showdown ends might be cool
**-**Another idea could be to pair up similar images in showdown more often. This could potentially make comparisons more meaningful, but idk.
**-**Lastly, I was curious if there is any specific reason why reactions are disabled in pantheon?

😅 This is why we were not going to put a "Neither" option in, due to that confusion. It should be for when both images are "bad".

We may change it to 👎 A and 👎 B but not too sure yet Shrug

Some feedback / requests:

  • Regarding resize, it may be nicer to have three buttons for the proportions (landscape, square, portrait). (Unless you are planning to add more proportions)
  • Would be nice to be able to DM ourselves images from the Showdown
  • Not too sure about this one, and not sure if it's even possible to implement, but having a special vote that counts more (like 2 or 3 points) once per showdown may help highlight really good images and also break the uniformity in the votes (often the best ones are all tied up), this may help with that.

I’m also curious, because the different styles greatly affect the content of the scene and composition, not just the appearance. I’ve found that prompting for photos while negative-promoting against comic, anime, etc. and selecting a style like Fantasy Art can often get a photorealistic scene of more interesting things happening, compared to the Photo style which is usually just facial close-ups. So maybe the styles are different sets of training images of different kinds of scenes.

I’m very impressed with SDXL’s text generation. It seems comparable to the Cronos (I think) blend that used to be on NeuralBlender, which until now handled text better than anything else (besides Imagen), and I was sad that it was removed from that site. Now, SDXL’s image capabilities which of course blow away the old NeuralBlender, combined with its text capability, have a lot of potential for graphic design inspiration.

@lethal haven, got a suggestion / question... I noticed something I'm doing which may be worth discussing. From what I understand only a sub-set of the images peoplle vote for go to the the showdown (is this based on votes only, or aesthethic rating, or something else?).
The issue is that sometimes I avoid voting on images not because they are both bad, but because I don't want them to be in the showdown. I normally start iterating an idea and adding or removing parts of the prompt to see what works, this means at the beginning the images generated may be ok but not what I'm after, and since I will keep iterating on the idea I don't want to spam the showdown with images of an "unfinished idea"... hope this makes sense? One solution may be to have a button to send an image to the showdown, this would allow anyone that sees an interesting image to send it to the showdown, but not necessarily every image gets there.
I think it may make a better game, but not sure if this is a good change for the learning process... but we may end with a better selection of images in the showdown.
Or should I just vote everything?

About 20% of the time this prompt triggers a “content blocked on this server” error, and I’m sure it contains nothing objectionable: A warning sign with the text “Warning! Handsome Dude Ahead!”. Don't think you need to change much, to me it feels a lot like normal SD, maybe a bit smarter, understands more and the images are much more detailed and consistent. haven't used deep floyd so can't compare to it. Also you don't need so many negatives as in 2.x

Yes they mentioned a basic negative prompt, not sure what it was and can't find it either. I think if you need them, just use them sparsely and focus on what you really don't want to see. No guarantee they work, though.

I can paste almost anything except one thing, when I do it says oh no dream didn't finish. I idea what it could be, I thought maybe I had some sort of hidden special character w the wrong encoding but I basically retyped it and pasting still didn't work

Some blurry images may be due to the NSFW classifier being a bit over sensitive - this is actively being worked on to be more accurate.

If you're referring to blurry textures and plastic like skin within the generations themselves... winkgif Just trust me that it won't be like that for too much longer

use /dream, fill in your prompt then if you bring your text cursor outside of the prompting box there should be an option to change your aspect ratio, although you are limited to 3:2 and 2:3, 3:2 is the closest to 16:9 so choose that
