i just use inpainting, but for me it's faster than using a different program (usually)

inpainting is often futile when things are places that you don't want them to be since it uses the source image as the starting point so it wants to keep colors in the same places. a quick draw over makes inpainting much more likely to work.

i remove entire limbs and stuff all the time

the other modes just mostly don't work very consistently

easier to fill in the space of the extra leg even roughly with the right color and then inpaint over that if needed for finishing touches.
