"Tiled Diffusion" (on MultiDiffusion method) and "Tiled VAE"
Works wonders with generated upscaling, is very forgiving with the prompt (most times), and in my opinion is much better than traditional SD Upscaling.
That and if you want to, you can have different prompts for different image regions.

you can install pytorch 2.0 and use --opt-sdp-attention instead of xformers, about as fast, but it's deterministic
