Small note: you don't strictly need the overflow protection - because you're merging the outputs of the stackers immediately, they can't ever jam. But putting overflow protection on is never going to cause a problem: in the worse case you waste a couple of buildings, and in the best, you have it already there if you make a change or add another platform that does need overflow protection.
