Belt filters show predictions for all possible states all of the time
Done • Priority: Highest • Fix: 1.0.0 Release • Game: 1.0.0-beta3 • Resolution: Not A Bug

Belt Filters display Shape Previews for all possible states simultaneously, regardless of the current state set by a Toggle Button. When a Toggle Button changes the Belt Filter's direction, the Shape Previews do not update to reflect only the active state. The expected behavior is that Shape Previews should change according to the Belt Filter's current state. This was reported in Classic Mode on the Regular scenario. A developer noted this works as intended, as wires are not factored into Sha...

Belt Filters show predictions
To Do • Priority: Medium • Fix: None • Game: 1.0.3-rc3

Belt Filters show shape previews that cycle through 4 different shapes. To reproduce, import the provided savegame from the main menu, observe the shape previews changing, and use the location marker to navigate to where the belt filters are located.

Belt filters are not showing previews
Done • Priority: High • Fix: 1.0.0 Release • Resolution: Done

Shape Previews disappear from Conveyor Belts when shapes pass through a Belt Filter. The issue does not occur with the Belt Reader or Overflow Splitter. It can be reproduced by placing any Conveyor Belt with shapes connected to a Belt Filter in any difficulty. The expected result is that Shape Previews remain visible after shapes pass through a Belt Filter. This was resolved as part of a prediction refactoring.

New predictions show before a belt filter but not after
Done • Priority: High • Fix: None • Resolution: Duplicate

Shape Previews stop displaying after passing through a Belt Filter, even though they show correctly before reaching it. This occurs in Classic Mode when placing a Belt Filter on a conveyor line - the preview system appears to be blocked by the filter structure. The expected behavior is that Shape Previews should continue to display after Belt Filters, showing the predicted shapes based on the filter's configured Signal input. This makes it difficult to visualize what items will pass through t...

Predictions are stopping at the conveyor belt just before flow control buildings
Done • Priority: High • Fix: 1.0.0 Release • Resolution: Fix Verified

Shape Previews stop at the Conveyor Belt just before flow control machines (Belt Reader, Belt Filter, and Pipe Gate), failing to continue along the connected Conveyor Belt or Pipe. This can be reproduced by placing any flow control machine as part of a factory setup and observing that Shape Previews do not propagate past these machines. Additionally, Shape Previews do not update to reflect changes made to the Belt Filter or Pipe Gate configuration. The expected behavior is that Shape Previews...

I'm struggling to see why this is marked as not a bug. All of the links take me to a private Jira board. It seems incorrect that when you pass the belt filter a signal for a specific shape, that the outputs behave as if any of the possible input shapes could go through.
