Scenario badges move rapidly left and right when the mouse pointer is in a specific position on the main menu
To Do β’ Priority: Medium β’ Fix: Post 1.0 β’ Game: 1.0.0-beta-4
On the main menu, scenario badges rapidly alternate between two positions when the cursor is placed in the gap between a badge that has shifted left and the remaining badges to the right. This occurs because hovering causes a badge to move left, and positioning the cursor in the resulting gap triggers it to flicker back and forth. The cursor positioning near badges should never cause them to rapidly alternate between two positions on the screen.

There is an obvious multi colour flickering in the main menu screen when using Vulkan on an Arc A380 graphics card
Done β’ Priority: Medium β’ Fix: 1.0.0 Release β’ Resolution: Fix Verified
Multi-color flickering occurs on the main menu screen when using Vulkan with an Intel Arc A380 graphics card. The issue is triggered when shadow settings are set to Off, Medium, or higher, and stops when shadows are set to Low. Switching to DX11 or DX12 also avoids the problem. The cause was traced to shader compile defines in the space station layer rendering that did not account for Vulkan, similar to a known issue with Metal. A fix was applied by adding a Vulkan case to the relevant shader...

Shape preview on game selection blanks out after changing color mode
To Do β’ Priority: Low β’ Fix: None
When changing the color mode in the settings before starting a new game, all the Shape Previews in the Difficulty selector will error out and show blank squares. The issue is fixed when restarting the game. To reproduce: open the game, go to the Play screen on the main menu, go back to settings and change the color to any option, return to the main game menu, and notice the Shape Previews not showing correctly. The expected result is that changing colors in the main menu correctly updates the...

Menu Screen transition stutters
Done β’ Priority: Low β’ Fix: Update 0 - Patch 1 β’ Resolution: Done
The Menu Screen transition stutters when launching shapez 2 and navigating from the Main Menu to Play. When clicking Play, the transition animation triggers and briefly shows the shapez 2 logo appearing in the corner with visible stuttering. The issue is difficult to reproduce consistently. This bug has been reported as fixed in a previous update.
