Locked tasks in Prologue can be delivered before they become unlocked
To Do โ€ข Priority: Lowest โ€ข Fix: None

In the Prologue, locked Jobs that are visible but not yet unlocked can be delivered and completed early. When the player reaches the Milestone that unlocks these Jobs, they appear as already completed but do not award the expected Research Credits or Blueprint Credits. This occurs when delivering shapes for locked Jobs before progressing through the required Milestones. The player misses out on the rewards that should be granted upon legitimate completion of these Jobs.

Milestone shapes not yet unlocked indicated with Green delivery indicator
To Do โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 1.0 Release [1.0.0]

The Delivery indicator shows a green background when delivering Milestone shapes that belong to the current Milestone but are not yet unlocked due to prerequisites. This occurs in any Difficulty when a player delivers a future shape from the current Milestone that is blocked by progression requirements. For example, delivering red full circles instead of half red circles on normal Difficulty causes The Vortex preview to display green even though the shape is locked with an orange lock indicat...

Operator window shows shape count for current milestone shape
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 4 - Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Done

The Operator window incorrectly displays a shape count for a milestone shape that is still locked and incomplete. The count shows a value other than zero or a check mark even though the milestone has not been completed and should not be tracking progress yet. The expected behavior is that locked milestones should display zero count or remain grayed out until the milestone is actually unlocked and available for progress. This issue has been verified as fixed, with locked goals now properly gra...

Squares count towards Research goal before side goals are unlocked
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: 2 - Demo โ€ข Resolution: Won't Fix

Squares count towards the Research goal for collecting 50 full Shapes before Side Goals are unlocked at Milestone 3. This occurs when players send Squares to The Vortex before unlocking Milestone 2, then cut them and send half Squares. Upon unlocking Milestone 3 and Side Goals, the goal appears already completed. This was evaluated by game design and determined to be intended behavior, allowing advanced players to pre-build for upcoming research goals.

Milestone 6 infinite delivery shape unlocked when reaching Milestone 5 In Hexagonal mode
Done โ€ข Priority: High โ€ข Fix: Dimension Update [0.1.0] โ€ข Resolution: Done

In Hexagonal mode, completing Milestone 5 incorrectly unlocks Milestone 6's shape for infinite Delivery instead of Milestone 5's shape. This occurs when progressing through the game normally or using the hub.add cheat to complete milestones manually. The bug causes the wrong shape to be delivered constantly for Research Credits. The expected behavior is that each milestone should unlock its own corresponding shape for infinite delivery. This has been fixed in the latest version.

Locked but valid shapes show as incorrect on hub
Done โ€ข Priority: Medium โ€ข Fix: 4 - Early Access โ€ข Resolution: Won't Fix

When delivering shapes to the Vortex that match future locked milestones, the Vortex incorrectly shows them as invalid even though they will count toward progression. These locked but valid shapes are treated the same as completely irrelevant shapes, despite being part of in-progress operator shapes. This causes confusion because shapes that will eventually be needed appear as mistakes. The expected behavior would be for the Vortex to indicate these locked milestone shapes as correct or at le...

Looks to be similar to SPZ-4674 and SPZ-2824. But this is for the operator shape actually unlocking and being able to be claimed for levels.

#

Example with previous milestone.

#

ROS shapes unlocked early as well (at the start of milestone 12 and not the end):

Nothing yet. Could be because the save was completed in Alpha 3.

Might be because the save came from Alpha3. Here's a sample save.

  1. Go to the OPERATOR screen and see the ROS shapes are locked.
  2. change to MILESTONES tab.
  3. Press UNLOCK.
  4. Go back to the OPERATOR screen and see that the ROS shapes are now unlocked.
