Attempting to do what you did I am having no issues.
I am wondering what is your CPU?
And have you tried a memory test?
Windows10/11 comes with something called Windows Memory Diagnostic that can be found by typing that into the search box beside the start menu button.
Or you could use Memtest86 that is available for free online that can do a more thorough test, but needs a flashdrive to be installed on.
i think i have an idea where the error might have been from. i allready did a memory check not a long time ago bc my pc kept crashing a lot. but my memory wasnt affected. back to the idea, prior to installing the game i deleted a lot of stuff but i didnt defragment my drives C: being one of them. this might have been affecting my system in an some unpredictable way so that this chrash might have happened when i started the game. now its running as smoothely as it can
Nice. Though I thought defragmenting was for the older spinning drives?
mostly yes. but in very few cases it can lead to some strange behaviors too on ssds. when some data pointer points in two direction at once and then some data gets mixed. wierd hardware level stuff.
All I get for my ssd drives is the option to optimize. Nothing about defragging.
thats basically the same process
