#100% efficiency being lost through space belts

Not sure if this is an intentional game design or its a bug, but i have a space island, and on it, i have 8 belts working at 100% efficiency, and i take those belts and merge them all on a space belt (so four regular belts spitting to the space belt on the first floor, and four spitting to the space belt on the second floor), the space belt is about 250 tiles long id say, and when i get to the end, it spits all shapes back into their respective belt and floor, however, they arent operating at 100% anymore, something like 90% or 80%, and even 70% sometimes, not sure why that is, ive done a lot of troubleshooting, seeing if i had too few extractors and stuff like that, but everything seems fine. Also mentioning that it worked at 100% for around 10mins, and then thats when the problem stated above occured.

If the problem is the same as several similar bug reports here then it is fixed in 0.0.8

Noticed same issue, was checking where I was losing efficiency and it came from the beginning, from extractors. The first space belt was slower, clearing all shapes on that belt helps reset and sync it to 100% speed, at least for a while.

That level of throughput is an issue upstream or downstream in your factory. Not the spacebelt bug

I've looked into everything and it all works.

The moment I undouble factory. It's 100%. If I double it, it starts to act funky.

So that's 16 extractors for 1st floor. And another 16th extractors launching for 3rd floor.

I am pretty sure it's the space belt.

The first screenshot is the entrance to factory.

So all that's inbetween the two is spacebelt. Which has [150m x 12]. Extractors are only putting out [150m x 4] and [150m x 4] so it should be able to handle it.

What I have found is that the performance of 0.0.8 has been optimized, but there are still problems, in 0.0.7 space belt loses more than 10% efficiency, 0.0.8 stays around 97%. All the space belts I've found so far in the game that lose efficiency have the same thing in that the path of the space belt is merging shapes that belong to different floors. Hope this can help you guys locate the cause of the problem!

I have this problem on 0.0.7 but find out that saving, going back to menu, and continue solves the issue. Maybe is something related to long sessions

I am also finding out today that i have this problem. I can physcially see the belt not droping the items on the belt as fast as they should. They almost stutter a bit randomly making the belt not hold the amout it is suppose to.

I noticed one thing, not sure if it can help and also not sure if there is correlation. But when I had the problem, my Belt + Cutting + Stacking was level 4. Once I upgrade to level 5. The problem dissapeared in all my factories. Since I upgrade to level 5, I have 100% efficiency unless I made a mistake in a factory.
