#Pinned shapes to rotate based on camera rotation

I would like this feature to have pinned shapes on left to rotate whenever I rotate the camera as well so when I go to a different location to prepare other shapes to complete to know exactly the output of these shapes to leave if needs to be rotated or not before delivery and avoid stacking it wrong.

Example the half-circle on the left, if I rotate the camera 90 degrees to left, the icon of that half-circle also to rotate on the right 90 degrees.

unless its a randomised operator shape, since those are bugged

yes, the vortex doesn't care but let's say I have to deliver half of circles that my output are on bottom like in the screenshot and from another location to deliver half of rectangles and to stack.

If I deliver the other half with wrong rotation, I have to rotate it again before stacking, knowing exactly the initial output rotation i can prepare the other half on the correct rotation and send it directly to stack.

you dont even always look at things with the same camera rotation

When I start designing the base for crafting special shapes I can make sure to output exactly the same as shown in the left pane so whenever I go to the other base, I can match the opposite

#

As you can see here, my coordinate is North, my output of the half-circles are on right side while the pinned shape is shown to be bottom the half-circles.

Now If I go to another place to create half-squares and I am looking to North I need my output to be on the left side before stacking based on my current output.

but the camera doesn’t change that

#

the shape preview i believe is not rotated

The whole point is to be easy to me to have an information on how should I craft other shapes and which rotation to have before delivering

#

if I rotate my output of semi-circles to bottom like in the pinned shape on the left and then I go to another place to create half-squares for example, I can rotate the camera whenever I wish and so the shapes on the pin also rotates so in the end I know which side I need to rotate these half-squares before delivering

#

for stacking

but you won’t know what the rotation of the other thing is relative without going to look at it

#

the pin, shape preview, and shape icons are all in a standard rotation

sigh
I know it's hard enough for me to explain exactly what I mean.

for that to work, then ALL of the shape UI need to rotate too

#

which would be extremely confusing. because everything would depend on your camera. you wouldn’t have a standardized orientation to compare

many times when I need to stack items I have trouble to know how items should first be rotated before delivering otherwise I risk of stacking wrongly

#

and I have to go back to the other base and compare, how the items from place1 is rotated on north camera? how should I rotate the items from the second place before delivery and stack

why not just make sure ur always looking north when checking if ur shapes are correct

I haven't read each of the comments but came to the discord to suggest this exact thing. Once I started stacking I had mistakedly created the wrong shape because I had oriented the vortex as my "north" without realizing that meant my perspective on shape rotation also changed. An option to have pinned shapes rotate with you would be much appreciated!!

It's a cool and neat feature that you can submit shapes in any order but they have to still be made in the correct one, so I think the option to toggle this would be very helpful!
