#can we keep the demo?

aw
simply keep steam offline forever, shorely
checks rules
well the reason I specified "from steam" was because you can still play the game even if it's taken off steam, since the devs can't remove the files from your PC. I did it with "Terra Nil's" demo, and from what I believe the unity player and the shortcut got swapped when it was taken off steam, so you can swap those files again to continue playing the game without steam. The only issue I had was after I finished playing the game again, I deleted Terra Nil's unity player thinking it was useless junk left over from steam, so I can't play it anymore. This could have also been because the game offed itself after I closed it since it wasn't connected to steam, but I think this is unlikely, since it ran fine before.
So you should still be able to play the demo without keeping steam offline.
The demo requires steam to be running and will start steam if it isn't; steam DRM
I thought the same, but from what I encountered it no longer tried to open steam from the new shortcut that I found in the game's files
I literally just checked
how?
that's weird, maybe they changed it in an update
It's the same on both versions; pins and non-pins
oh what did you close all instances of steam? it's always running in the background even when you turn on the computer. To make things worse, it has smaller instances running in the background even when you close the main prosses with task manager. it kind of acts similarly to a virous.
Yes, I'm quite familiar with doing this stuff.
oh, then I have no clue what happenedd
ig we'll see if it still works after the demo ends
I've been lied to.
||jk it's fine lol||
technically your question says "after it ends" so it's still right just with a different date
