#In-game calculator

You can press F1 and then do calc 1+2 for now does that help? 🙂 It also can do more complex stuff like calc (120/15)*15+5
🤯 for some reason I always thought this command would bind another command to a hotkey so I never tried it
Pretty sure there's a bind command
A thing like in Satisfactory would be useful tho, with a search and calculator feature in one
yeah, exactly what I thought.
Didn't know of that thing, for now it has to suffice 🙂 but in official release an in-game calculator would be better in my opinion
Hi I would like to echo the sentiment of OP. An in-game calculator that can be easily accessed similar to what satisfactory has would be great addition to the game.
How easierly could you access it?
Maybe a function button other than commands so that you don't have to write the calc function
But it's just 6 characters with the parentheses
Oh niice
Personally I found the ratios in this game to be pretty simple and no trouble at all to work out in my head. The only one that threw me was the 22.5 shapes per minute throughputs early on, but once I remembered that this is a quarter of 90 it was no problem at all. Then again, math is a bit of a strength for me.
who knows how complicated math would be later, it was just a demo 🙂
I know the importance of this feature would be less than low, but in the end I still think it would be a nice addition. Absence of that wouldn't by any mean lower the quality of game. Just a nice addition.
In satisfactory the search bar is mapped to "n". Once opened you simply type in your equation and it is calculated in real time
This video demonstrates it quite well

There is a Satisfactory calculator tool INSIDE the game! In this quick video I'll show you the Satisfactory calculator tool in the game and how you can use it to plan out your next factory. How many smelters do you need for a pure iron node? Use the calculator to run the numbers, and plan to give yourself the space to expand!

It was the 22.5 that threw me. I didn't know it was a 1/4 of 90 though.
