Is there any plans/suggestions that have been put in/shut down for vertical merging and splitting? I've tried to intuitively do it a few times now and it's odd to me that you can't just pull off of/push to a layer 2 belt. It makes some sense with the way that the look of the lifts work would not interact with splitting and merging, but other than that, has there been justification or comment from the developers? If this is a suggestion to slap into the poll website I'll do so, I just don't seem to find it when I search.
