how do I use the pumps, or how does the Fluidpatches look

I'm guessing you are playing alpha 5, you first have to find a fluid patch (like in the screenshot) and then place a fluid extraction platform on it, and then place the pumps of the fluid patch

fluids aren't available in that version (it's a limited alpha)
