I had a great first impression of the game while playing the demo. However, in some aspects, I expected a different gameplay experience based on the devlogs you have shared. Here is some feedback that I hope you find helpful:
First of all, it was a bit of a difficult start since the tutorial did not provide enough information to start playing, especially which buttons to use (controller).
I was really looking forward to finding energy sources and placing down power grids to power the base. I hope this will be implemented back into the game. In the demo, it felt a bit like I was just placing down stations and collecting everything I could, rather than needing to be strategic about it.
This is probably coming at a later point, but I would love to see more infrastructure building. For example, settlers can not be placed since a food source has not yet been set up, or adding tunnels that require specific machinery/ressources to reach other locations would be a great addition.
In my opinion, the hub could be slightly more spacious. Placing all the stations makes the space feel cramped. Additionally, please allow for rotating stations after they have been put down. It was difficult to see where the entrance/control panel would be placed, and often another station was inconveniently in the way. Visually, I also find the high walls and especially the grid on the ground rather distracting.
Thank you for considering my feedback!
