Have had sparrow's tales progression break midway through. In "Synod's Finest", I opened the chest and then the quest broke. It no longer appears in my journal and it can't be completed. This also happened to me in "A Living Husk" votive, where Thrice Bound Impidh did not spawn.

In this example, could not progress the "Unsettler" bounty as no-one spawned in the town. The quest did stay in my journal but did not receive credit for previous step
After relogging this quest was fixed, but this should not be necessary.

Update: Just hopped back on, and those two were still on my map even after quitting and reopening, but I could abandon one of them at least. However, when I went to go take a new one, it broke as well. Guess I just can't play Soulframe until this is fixed 🤷♀️

I've had the same issue seems to happen when you pick up multiple tales at once, clear the sinecure encampment one also doesn't spawn enough adds when multiple tales are picked up.

+1, had no other active tales or quests, started it then they blacked out and it vanished from the journal.
Have to abandon the tale, relog and abandon it again to fix. This has happened a few times over the past few days, usually in the same region near the thrice bound imph.

I don't have screenshot examples unfortunately, just wanted to see if a thread was started already. Easily over half of our sparrow's tales have been incompletable without luring in extra enemies, or rebooting (with maps like the above images). Rebooting often doesn't fix it either and we just abandon them after one reboot.
It's usually the branching ones. Normally, after completing one branching objective, the other "non-chosen" objective gets blacked out.
Recently though, when completing any objective, the next objective gets blacked out as if it was "not chosen", which soft locks the whole thing. Happens very often now.
