  • Runes are now activated by pressing the Spectral Sight + Heavy Attack inputs.
    Note: Bow Runes activated with Spectral Sight + Heavy Attack will charge the bow with a regular Shot, rather than the alternative fire (e.g., Arrow Rain), while you have a Rune charge.
  • Re-worked the rewards pools from Midrath’s Sieges.

  • All ranks: Silistavf, Dewelion, Espadarte, Archstorm
  • As part of our ongoing review of Siege rewards, equipment earned from a Siege should now better support progression while making completion rewards feel more fairly distributed. Stronger performances in Sieges are more likely to award higher-rarity equipment or rarer resources in greater quantities. These changes are intended to help Envoys feel tangibly stronger, while ensuring each reward remains attainable regardless of performance. Thank you for your patience this week as we continue iterating to find the best feeling for Sieges!
  • Espadarte Fragments can be acquired from shipwreck duels after completing The Wreck Of Mestra Carmo.
  • The Journal’s Foes entries are now sorted by scanned progress.
  • Added portraits to Ancestor/character entries while viewed in the Journal.

  • Fixed various Pact Passives not functioning properly, such as:
    Ode Tempest’s “Gravitate.”
    Sirin’s “Pickpocket.”
    Oscelda’s “Vernal Pool.”
    Bromius’ “Barkbare.”
  • Fixed Lyke-Wake Fragments not dropping from the emerging Lyke-Wake wielding Mendicant foes in the Fallen Skytower.
  • Fixed various issues while playing The Torment Stag.
    Fixed Clients never receiving a Rune for absorbing Fenn Jotar after leaving the Dermak Undercity in The Torment Stag.
    Fixed the Spirit Guide not properly guiding the Envoy towards Fenn Jotar.
    Fixed Clients being unable to use Spectral Sight on Fenn Jotar in The Torment Stag.
    Fixed missing objective UI after absorbing Fenn Jotar in The Torment Stag.
    Fixed missing objective UI after acquiring the Totem in The Torment Stag.
  • Fixed an input delay while attempting to use a Spectre Strike following a perfect dodge.
  • Fixed the Dermak Undercity sometimes unintentionally having areas with no combatants.
  • Fixed the “Sympathy” Pact Art not healing the Envoy after pulling a dead enemy’s Smite.
  • Fixed a number of Envoys never receiving their Duelo Fragment while playing The Wreck Of Mestra Carmo.
  • Fixed being unable to complete the Journal entry for Mockeries.

yeah I'm a bit confused about the bow change. I activate soul mode (LB for me), then try to charge a shot (RT normal, RB arrow hail)....and nada. No rune charge used. On maestro.

ah i got it! wasn't using the rune because pull smite was already bound to the same key i would've used for a heavy. I swapped the binding for pull smite from RB to RT, and the runes now work like a charm on the bow

As a reminder folks, the Lyke Wake fix is that ALL knights in the dungeon will drop it now, so make sure to change your farming strats accordingly!

It seems like a bug specific to Avex, as its heavy attack is just a standard swing rather than Arrow Hail.

bow rune. it forces an exit from zoom, and having to juggle aiming, movement, Spectral Sight, and heavy attack... forcing the use of three buttons with just the left hand is just terrible control design.

Using Pull Smite on the souls left after a mob dies doesn't restore rune charges, and the Pact passive healing doesn't trigger either.
not fixed. I didn't checked with other weapons but pull smite (after mob death) not working with bow.

Still think sirins passives need to be completely reworked considering how pickpocket provides no benefits you couldn't get by just killing the enemy(and a pickpocketed enemy no longer drops loot i think), but having it actually work now is cool.

Is the Mora's Hand pact now bugging for people with the latest change? It would appear I can't use rune attacks at all with it (tested on controller, with melee, bow, and staff weapons)

Edit: re-logging fixed this, but while it was broken for me, it just kept heavy swinging Igne Mora (which I didn't have equipped)

As the current layout is already using WASD, EFRG+H, Q and ZXC.
Also numberkeys 1-3 are used and the default "utility buttons" like M for map etc.

You're missing the point.. Im my previous post I said let the mechanics be the same (soul+ heavy), just let us keybind this combo to a single key if we want. They don't need to rework any current layouts.

Runes currently don't have an option to be rebound in the settings, hopefully this is just a bandaid fix and they'll make it a proper input later on.

Does anyone using xbox controller have issues activating runes now? I cannot seem to activate since this hotfix. I'm using spectral sight (RT for me) plus heavy attack (bound to my paddle) which is quite awkward to do but it isn't activating my rune.

Looking in settings, there is no listing for "heavy attack" so I'm unable to rebind...

Any ideas?

I had the same problem. Heavy attack was bound to RB (also bound to my paddle) and listed as throwing melee weapons. The smite pull was also bound to RB and this conflicted keybind was the problem. I just moved the smite pull to RT.

Please buff/change the Shrouded passive. It's redundant now since we get a nearly identical effect from Orlick's quests. It would be cool if it granted a speed boost in the shadows—like Oscelda's mechanic—or marked enemies for bonus damage when activating a Soul Mod. Right now, it's just not worth using.

I got 2 fragments back to back once I stopped running the dungeon starting from the exit. The enemies always spawned at level 1 or 2 for me while doing that. Entering the correct side of the dungeon puts enemies at 29-30 and the weapon fragment seems to be dropping as expected. Now the location motes on the other hand...

Espadarte light attacks seems a little off unless it's intended, it's missing 3rd light attack (stab), also I feel like sometimes it only get 1 stab when attacking enemies

I tend to not even use arrow hail myself, for example. A bow is to take enemies one by one, from the distance. What the hell do you mean by being a massive AoE weapon X.X

Of the 35 enemies listed in the book, only 25 remained the next day, and the same goes for the animals. The lights in the fallen tower don't appear, and armor doesn't help.
