Secret ancestor and enclave?: The Mendicant King was dead and forgotten for ages, until he rose once more through the corruption of the Ichor Wastes, you can fight him for his sword and armor pieces, but I had a thought, what if you fought his with a specific weapon, and fought him enough times to temporarily heal the corrupted soul? A fight against the Mendicant King while using the Duhk Halic, purge his corrupted form, reveal the soul underneath and discover more of the past that was long forgotten. Once temporarily cleansed of corruption for a certain time, you'd discover a new ancestor similar to Kith of Kings Enclave, where Fenn Jotar sends you out in Mora's name to rid of the invaders, The Mendicant King could be similar, but instead of just slaying the Ode'n, you also cleanse the land of the terrible corruption from the Oden Moaners and the machines, possibility of a Pact as well, and if you reach max level with this Enclave, one of the rewards could be an uncorrupted form of the Mendicant King's armor set.
Shortened if too much to read: Fight the Medicant King while using the Duhk Halic, cleanse away some of the corruption every fight until the king is no longer corrupted for a short time, may have to fight again when the corruption consumes him again, make a pact with a secret Enclave to cure the land of Ichor corruption and rid away the Ode'n soldiers, recieve some cool rewards and more story lost to time.
Why?: well the ichor corruption seems to have nasty affect on those consumed by it, when the dead have unfinished business they never go to rest like the Jotar Crypt, and even in death, those who did what was seen a wrong, tend to regret their actions in life, like Fenn Jotar who seeks Mora's forgiveness.
